Let me introduce my self, "Jeff Mayes".
I have done design projects ranging from s simple prototype to producing
10s of thousands of production units. I can take your IDEA or RAW DESIGN
and refine it into a working reproducible product. I can setup the testing
and QC required for high volume projection and can even coordinate warranty and
non-warranty service and repair for end users of your product.
A little more of my background, I am not just a board swapping
technician, I am a full electronics engineer with extensive experience in producing both
consumer products and business control systems, this includes of course computers and
networking as well as PLC's, Audio-Video, Custom Control systems and Custom electronic
mission critical equipment. I troubleshoot with a engineers mind which gives me a
great advantage over the board-swapping techs, I know which substitute parts will work and
can 98% of the time have your equipment working without having to wait on expensive
overnight-air freighted parts. I also can engineer the solution so that the problem will
not reoccur, unlike techs that only fix and fix and fix, If I find a reoccurring problem
then there is a engineering problem, just fixing the current problem will not preeminently
fix a engineering problem as the real problem will remain unless a change is made. I
can add redundant systems and/or beef up the existing system to assure 100% up-time vs.
the just fix and hope it works longer mind set of the average tech.
Do you have a custom system that is a only Child? I can duplicate
it!!! Any mission critical system should have a spare otherwise you are asking for
downtime. I have duplicated many custom built systems and now the owners enjoy the benefit
of clicking on the spare system when the primary one fails and making a routine call for
service instead of making a emergency call and loosing money that can't be reclaimed
during the outage.
